Jaws Reboot

I’m willing to bet he’s swimming in a warm and slightly yellowish spot of water, any takers?

Yes that’s right folks, the movie that made us all afraid of the water is back and bigger than ever.

The original Jaws made me so terrified of water I won’t even attempt to drink out of the toilet anymore.

The first clip for Jaws Reboot has been released and it promises to make us afraid all over again.

Man i gotta see this film cause Jaws is probably my favourite horror film of all time.

First time i took a girl called Anne out, we were in the theatre, the head fell out the boat, i screamed, she screamed, she put her arms around me.

That may be part of the reason i loved the picture so much but apart from that, it was just so scary, so realistic and living in Great White infested waters here in Australia, i can truly relate to it.

IM looking forward to this one :)

lol ya this one looks like their taking the series in an entirely different direction.

I did like the original Jaws though, it was really well done for the time. I also thought Richard Dreyfuss as Matt Hooper was a great role for him.

I still watch the original Jaws now and again.

Damn! I thought this was for real at first. I remember watching Jaws marathon’s at 4am in the morning back in middle school on the weekends! “We’re gonna need a bigger boat”

Sadly disappointing, but I’ll keep my hopes up.

lol ya I know, the article itself was a bit of a sick joke I must admit.

The only reason I posted it was I found the shark video on YouTube and thought it would be a fun snippet to post here.

Be that as it may, I wouldn’t be surprised to one day see Jaws completely redone. The only issue is that unless it’s taken seriously by a talented director, it will likely be an overdone, over-processed, CGI crapfest that lacks the authenticity, intimacy and sheer terror that Jaws delivered.

…Jaws that is, none of the sequels were near as good IMHO.
